I thought is was spring?

As I sit here and write this, it's snowing like crazy outside. I think that mother nature is confused because today is March 30th, and it's springtime. Today has been rather un-eventful. I packed up the boys this evening and we went to my moms house for dinner (I didn't feel like cooking and making a mess, plus the boys wanted to see their nana and vice-versa). Dinner was good and the boys behaved fairly well. I did find out earlier today that Connor (my two year old) will be having his surgery to have his tonsils, adenoids, and tubes done on April 12th, that is not going to be a fun day. I hate when one of my babies has to have surgery (not that we make a habit of it, but Ethan has had tubes and tonsils and eye surgery, and Connor has already had tubes done once before). The whole thing just scares me even though I know they are considered "routine". I think that for a child it's even more scary than for an adult, because they go back into a cold weird smelling room with strangers wearing masks, and then wake up feeling disoriented and sick to their stomach and all they want is their mommy, well I will surely be there! Well it's time to get the boys to bed (which is usually a big fight with lots of getting back out of bed) so until next time...

Losing my *blog* virginity!

So, I have NEVER blogged before. I have read many other peoples blogs and I have laughed and cried with them, but I never had the urge to have my own, until now. I suppose this should be some kind of "getting to know me" type of post, so here goes- My name is Kari. I am 23 years old and I have a husband named Jeff and together we have three AMAZING little boys! Ethan was our first born (August 6th, 2004) and he is just full of energy and attitude. He is incredibly smart and sometimes that works against him, but I wouldn't have him any other way! Connor is our second little man (October 18th, 2008) and he is one ornery toddler! He will steal your heart the first time you meet him and never give it back, watch out for those blue eyes! Last, but certainly not least, we have Cole (born November 24th, 2010). He is my baby. He is so funny and is at this stage where he is so amused with everything I do, he makes me feel very special and needed and I can't get enough! Jeff and I have been together since 2002 so we have been through a lot together, most of which I am sure will come up at some point throughout my blogging journey. For now I will just say that he is the love of my life, father of my children and I could never live without him. My plan for this blog is basically just to write about my life with my children and husband and give my children something to look back and read once they are older. Until next time...
